I saw this emblem displayed at the Ministry of Education in Vientiane and always wondered what was the meaning of the words. I finally had my wife help me interpret the meaning and what we came up with is:
Studying
Is equal to
loving your country. (on the left)
Department of Education (bottom centered)
If you finish studying, study more.
Never stop studying. (on the right)
Anyone have a different interpretation?
